Waltco Truck Equipment introduces the patent-pending Swing Door Compatible Bed Extension option, so fleet operators don’t have to make an “either … or” choice when it comes to swing doors and liftgates. Swing doors maximize cargo loading and carrying space, just as liftgates maximize loading and unloading efficiency. Swing door hardware, however, typically interferes with liftgate mounting and operation. The usual approach is to spec both and then engineer a homegrown solution at installation. The Swing Door Compatible Bed Extension extends the bed beyond the door hardware to create a smooth transition for the liftgate, incorporating an easy flip-away panel to create access to the door hardware.
Availability: Can be ordered with any LPF, LPF/AP or E-RM series liftgate. Available for both 96” and 102” wide vehicle applications.
