WALTCO NAMES STEVE MILLER AS NEW PRESIDENT (TALLMADGE, Ohio, February 6, 2012) Waltco Lift Corp. has named Steve Miller to the position of President and will replace Michael Militello. Militello will remain with Waltco as President Emeritus in a non-operational role. During his presidency, Militello led a resurgence for Waltco within the liftgate marketplace as sales have more than doubled during his tenure. He successfully guided the merger of Waltco Truck Equipment and Ultron Lift Corp. in 2009 and subsequently directed the introductions of the highly-successful HLF and EM product lines. “Waltco owes a debt of gratitude to Michael for his guidance and leadership over the past three years. He has led Waltco through the downturn of 2009 and brought the company back to prominence in the North American liftgate market,” Miller said. Within the last year as Vice President of Sales, Miller has proven to be a very effective leader at Waltco and has also been able to interact very closely with our customer base. “Waltco has significant growth potential in the upcoming years and will strive to be the preeminent liftgate manufacturer in North America. Steve has shown that he can take Waltco to that level,” said Militello. Miller currently lives in Granger, Ind. with his wife and three children, but will be moving to Waltco’s headquarters in Tallmadge, Ohio. Waltco Lift Corp. is the world’s leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of hydraulic liftgates for truck and trailer applications.
