WALTCO ANNOUNCES NEW DISTRIBUTOR PROGRAM AT NTEA 2011

(TALLMADGE, Ohio) - Waltco Lift Corp. is launching a new Distributor Program, featuring a number of sales support and online tools, at NTEA 2011. The program will be unveiled at an invitation-only program dubbed “Spring Training.”

“Through this new Distributor Program, we are strengthening the relationships we have with our distributors, by giving them sales support materials, including several new online tools, to help them grow their business,” said Michael Militello, Waltco President.

In addition to updated product literature and a new online price guide, the program features several new web-based tools to help drive customers to their local distributors and enhance customer service. This includes the:

  • New and improved Distributor Locator, an updated database easily searchable by zip code
  • Upgraded Online Parts Navigator, an easy-to-use tool for quickly finding the right replacement part and accessing the latest warranty information
  • New Waltco Wizard, an interactive program that guides customers through a series of questions to help them narrow down their liftgate search

Sales leads generated by the Wizard can then be directed to a local distributor for price quotes and additional guidance in choosing the liftgate that best meets a customer’s particular needs.

Waltco is also unveiling a new Back Office Assistant, a password-protected website where distributors can access Waltco logos, photos and the updated price guide; request product literature and point-of-purchase materials, such as banners and decals; get the latest Waltco news and information; and easily link to the Waltco website to increase their own web traffic.

“Because we’ve added new liftgates and innovations to our product line-up, the timing was right to make sure our distributors have the latest product information, as well as access to the resources they need to best represent the Waltco brand to their customers,” said Militello.
