WALTCO ANNOUNCES LATEST CHANGES TO PRODUCT LINE-UP

(TALLMADGE, Ohio, February 6, 2012) Waltco Lift Corp. has added a new model to its C series line of flipaway liftgates. The new C-25 liftgate offers 2,500 lbs. of load capacity in an easy-to-use flipaway design. Existing C series models have load capacities of 1,600 and 2,000 lbs.

“With the addition of the C-25, we are responding to customer demand for a versatile, yet cost effective flipaway liftgate with increased lifting capacity,” said Jody Lakins, Waltco’s Inside Sales Manager.

The steel platform of the C-25 is available in two different sizes: 36 inches deep by 72 inches wide with a four-inch fixed ramp or a 40-inch deep by 72-inch wedge design. Other features of the C-25 include:

The C-25 weighs approximately 575 lbs. and is easy to install. Waltco will begin taking orders for the C-25 on March 19, with initial shipments beginning on April 2.

“The addition of the C-25 fills a void in our product offerings following the retirement of our old E Series liftgate,” said Lakins. “The C-25 fits the bill of providing an economical flipaway model with moderate load capacity.”

The EM series update is the other notable change in the Waltco product line-up.

“Even with the ‘E’ standing for ‘economy,’ the EM series has proven to be dependable, rugged and far above your average 2,500 lb. lift,” said Lakins.

Waltco made some minor updates to make the EM series even more robust in both the existing 2,500 lb. and the new 3,300 lb. load capacities. Like in other Waltco liftgates, the dual cart stop option is now priced as an add-on option rather than being included with the EMW aluminum platform.
