WALTCO LAUNCHES UPDATED VERSION OF
‘WALTCO WIZARD’ WEB-BASED LIFTGATE SELECTION TOOL
 (TALLMADGE, Ohio, March 6, 2012) Waltco Lift Corp. has developed an updated version of
the Waltco Wizard, an online tool to help customers select the right liftgate for their specific
application, simply by answering a series of questions about their vehicle and the materials they
transport. The latest version of the Waltco Wizard now features “See It In Action” videos of the
company’s most popular liftgate models.
“The Waltco Wizard narrows the liftgate search to a few select models, based on the customer’s
specific needs and the type of vehicle they use. By embedding these ‘See It In Action’ videos
within the search return, we’re able to give our customers a closer look at how these liftgates
perform, while highlighting their individual features,” said Scott Ickes, Waltco’s Senior Director
of Customer Service. “It’s just one more way we can help our customers choose the right liftgate.”
A contact form is also generated so a local distributor can follow up to provide price quotes and
additional guidance in making the final decision.
“Choosing the right liftgate is so important because it can increase efficiency and productivity,
as well as aid in driver retention,” added Ickes. “By helping to educate our customers about all
