WALTCO NAMES ROBERT TONON AS VICE PRESIDENT OF TECHNICAL SERVICES

(TALLMADGE, Ohio, January 11, 2010) Waltco Lift Corp. has named Robert Tonon to the position of Vice President of Technical Services. Tonon has spent the majority of his career in the liftgate industry, over 20+ years and held positions including VP of Operations, Tech Services and Support, Engineering, Design and Development of liftgate products for DEL Liftgates, Canadian Liftgates, and Ultron Lift Corp. Tonon was directly responsible for the supporting the development of Ultron’s Heavy Duty Railgate product in the US and Canada. This product, now known as the WDV Series of Heavy Duty Railgates, is the preeminent product in the market place now built and marketed by Waltco.

As Vice President of Technical Services with Waltco, Robert is responsible for the management of customer service including the day-to-day management of the technical support training, parts and maintenance across all product lines.

“My primary focus is to make Waltco’s parts and tech service department into a world class offering for our customers," he said.

A native of Toronto, Ontario Canada, he resides in Niagara Falls with his wife Janice and two daughters.
