WALTCO HYDRAULIC LIFTGATES NAMES MIKE LUNDQUIST MIDWEST TERRITORY MANAGER

(TALLMADGE, Ohio, August 21, 2008) Mike Lundquist has been named the new Midwest Territory Manager for Waltco Hydraulic Liftgates. Lundquist, who has over 20 years of experience in the trucking equipment industry, takes on this newly created position that will broaden Waltco’s reach across a six state market in the upper Midwest.

Lundquist, who lives in Minnesota, will work to market, promote and sell Waltco liftgates throughout his home state, as well as Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska. “I am so encouraged and excited about this position because it has huge potential for growth and success,” said Lundquist. “I know that Waltco will bring positive delivery solutions and effective change to the trucking industry that operates in this territory.”

“Having worked as an equipment sales representative for one of our distributors in Minnesota, Mike brings a tremendous amount of technical knowledge and market understanding to the table,” said Jim Wagner, Area Director of Sales. “With his positioning in the upper Midwest, Mike will provide better and stronger coverage to our current customer-base, while educating and communicating the Waltco advantage to a large contingent of distributors and end-users.”

Lundquist, who started his position in mid-July, understands that he can make a huge impact in the territory he is so familiar with and is setting himself up for success. “My goals for this position are to significantly increase the sales level in this territory by working closely with fleets and channel partners and helping them to become more efficient, while simultaneously promoting and marketing the Waltco brand,” said Lundquist.

A native of Minnesota, Lundquist resides in Monticello, just outside of the Twin Cities. He and his wife Barb have two children.
