WALTCO PROMOTES DON SCOTT TO GENERAL MANAGER FOR HYDRAULIC CYLINDER AND HYDRAULIC LIFTGATE DIVISIONS

(TALLMADGE, Ohio, February 15, 2008) Waltco Truck Equipment Co. has promoted Don Scott, former general manager of the Hydraulic Cylinder Division, to general manager of both the Hydraulic Cylinder and Hydraulic Liftgate divisions.

As general manager, Scott is responsible for the strategic planning and day-to-day management and fiscal operations of these divisions.

“My primary goal is to focus on our strategic vision of dominating the market with competitive products, while differentiating Waltco from the competition with exemplary customer service,” he said.

Scott, who has 13 years of service with Waltco, previously worked for 17 years at Parker-Hannifin Corporation, headquartered in Cleveland, where he held a number of accounting and finance-related positions. He holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from The Ohio State University in Columbus, and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.

A native of northeast Ohio, he resides in Chesterland, Ohio. He and his wife, Virginia, have three children.
