Glide Trac (GT) Slide-Away and Glide Trac Side Loader (GTSL) Slide-Away Liftgates from Waltco As a food or beverage distributor, you know the most important aspect of your business is to deliver product as quickly, efficiently and safely as possible. That’s why the Glide Trac (GT) and Glide Trac Side Loader (GTSL) Series of slide-away liftgates from Waltco offer ideal delivery solutions. Both are designed to simplify installation and maximize trailer efficiency, and they store completely underneath the trailer, without any modification to trailer sills, OEM lights or door hardware.
Although the GT Series can be used with or without a loading dock, for increased flexibility, the GT Side Loader Slide-Away Gate is intended for small and confined spaces, such as parking lots, where no dock is available.
Both offer the same large platform in 3,300 and 4,400 lb. capacities, making the GTSL the largest slide load platform on the market today. Because the GT Series does not add to trailer length, it’s ideal for 53-foot trailer applications.
The GT and GTSL mount easily to most dry-freight and refrigerated trailers, with either swing-type or roll-up doors, so you no longer have to choose a roll-up door to accommodate a liftgate or sacrifice cubic space in the trailer. Like all Waltco liftgates, the GT and GTSL are engineered with features to protect vital components, reduce downtime and ensure long life and performance.
